ON THIS DAY, JANUARY 3
On this day in 1496, Leonardo Da Vinci unsuccessfully tested a flying machine.
On this day in 1892, JRR Tolkien was born.
On this day in 2003, Greta Thunberg was born.
On this day last year I wrote a poem called Any Questions, #121 in my Autocorrect Diary series, in which I write a poem using predictive text and post it on social media with a photo I've taken that day, aiming to capture some aspect of the energy of the day. Much like this series. And my other Life Series' (Toes in Sand, Today's Tea, A Cycle of The Moon, Typewriter Diary). Any Questions begins:
I was wondering what the status is for my current work schedule.
please send out the moon for the next few days because I will be in a very serious situation.
Today I said yes to going to work.
Please send out the moon.
The Moon is Waxing Gibbous. Hard to see in the photo, but there it is.
The Sun is at 13° Capricorn.
Rain is almost real. The air keeps talking about it.
